“So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
–Isaiah 55:11–
Sunday School
Our Sunday School meets every Sunday morning in the Fellowship Hall at 10:00am. Coffee and snacks area provided. We are in the Fall Quarter. Our Adult Bible Study offers a in-depth look at the scriptures with practical points and detailed examinations of the key verse for each lesson. We hope you will join us.
Wednesday Night Bible Study
Proverbs 27:17 says “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” With this as our guide, we come together each Wednesday night at 6:30pm on Zoom. Our Bible study has covered a wide range of topics, such as Indwelling Sin, The Book of Esther, The Apostle Paul, and Comparative Religions, the names of God and the names of Jesus. We love diverse opinions, as they help us to grow in our faith. We hope that you will come and lend yours.
We are studying Twelve Ordinary Men by John MacArthur
In John MacArthur’s Twelve Ordinary Men, you’ll discover that contrary to popular belief, we do not have to be perfect to do God’s work. Look no further than the twelve disciples whose many weaknesses are forever preserved throughout the pages of the New Testament. Jesus chose ordinary men – fisherman, tax collectors, political zealots – and turned their weakness into strength, producing greatness from utter uselessness. Join MacArthur as he draws principles from Christ’s careful, hands-on training of the original twelve disciples for today’s modern disciple – you!

United Women in Faith
Previously United Methodist Women. We here at McCall’s Chapel have a vibrant chapter of the United Women in Faith. Our Local unit of the UMW meets each month to be refreshed spiritually with Bible-filled devotions and to discuss ways that we can live out our faith by helping women, children, and youth in our community. We meet together on the 3rd Saturday of each month and encourage all women to join us.
The mission of the UWIF is to:
- Provide opportunities to grow spiritually
- Equip women & girls to be leaders
- Provide transformative educational experiences
- Organize for growth & flexibility
- Work for justice through service & advocacy
We carry out this mission through fellowship, spiritual study and our Fundraising efforts. In this way we can provide aid to those in need as well as scholarships to graduating seniors at local high schools.

Fifth Sunday Offering
September 29, 2024
One of the vital means of support for the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home.
Each month that has a fifth Sunday, United Methodist Churches in the Florida Annual Conference are asked to receive an offering to support the ministry of the Children’s Home. When you contribute to this offering, you allow the Children’s Home to carry on their life changing ministry. The tradition of the Fifth Sunday Offering stretches back to the homes very beginning in 1908. Will you join us in remembering to lift up the Children’s Home on this next Fifth Sunday?
